" Sharjah Book Fair 2025 "It offers shows, interactive plays, and experiments that blend imagination and science

Sharjah, 17 October / WAM / The 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority at Expo Center Sharjah during the period from 5 to 16 November next, under the slogan “Between You and the Book,” will witness a series of interactive performances and plays that combine entertainment and knowledge, in addition to a group of diverse artistic events that add a cultural and artistic dimension to the visitors’ experience.
The 44th edition presents the family play “The Hookah”, which takes children on an enjoyable imaginative journey inside a modern technological factory that promises to fulfill the dreams of young people. Through the story of three dreaming girls who enter this factory full of surprises and futuristic experiences, the play presents the idea that dreams do not come true easily, but rather require persistence, teamwork, honesty and responsibility.
Chemistry show specialist Abdullah Anan takes the audience through an exciting scientific experience through the “360° Science Laboratory” show, which turns the stage into an interactive laboratory.
The show witnesses a series of live scientific experiments and chemical effects and provides visitors with a unique educational experience that arouses curiosity and brings science concepts closer together in a fun and exciting way.
The international team, The Dunk Masters, presents a dynamic show that combines basketball skills, acrobatic performances, and costumes. The team, which has won the title of world champion twice and is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records, is considered one of the most prominent teams specialized in this type of sports display that combines fitness and visual dazzle.
In a visual show entitled “Echoes of Swaying Arms,” the Black Widow band presents a dazzling artistic display, where the movements intertwine in amazing harmony to create a visual illusion that turns the stage into a living painting in which the arms open like flowers, as if a single body is moving with dozens of harmonious arms in precise formations and a gradual rhythm.
Members of the Ping Pong Pang Band perform a show that combines table tennis skills with rhythmic movement. The performers carry their rackets and balls to paint, with consistent rhythms, paintings of movement and light in an artistic experience that is the first of its kind in the world.
