Abu Dhabi Police participates in securing and organizing the Al Dhanna Running Race
Abu Dhabi, 19 October / WAM / Abu Dhabi Police participated in securing and organizing the Al Dhanna Running Race 2025 in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC” and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, and in coordination with the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate and a number of police agencies as part of its continuing efforts to support sporting events and enhance partnership with the community.
Brigadier Hamdan Saif Al Mansouri, Director of the Al Dhafra Region Police Directorate, confirmed that participation comes within the framework of Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to consolidate the positive values associated with physical fitness and sports activity and enhance community communication, in addition to ensuring the safety of participants and the public and securing the race track with high efficiency.
For his part, Colonel Humaid Salem Al Mansouri, Director of Al Dhanna City Police Station, explained that this participation comes within the framework of the General Community and a translation of the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command in supporting national initiatives that enhance the quality of life and encourage practicing sports as a healthy lifestyle that reflects positively on community security.
The race witnessed a field presence of a number of officers and police personnel, where awareness leaflets and symbolic gifts were distributed to the participants and the public to spread the culture of traffic safety and enhance community cooperation.
