International Handball Federation: Al-Ahly confirms its position as a dominant force in Africa

The official website of the International Handball Federation highlighted that Al-Ahly was crowned champion of the forty-sixth edition of the African Club Championship for Men, which was held in Casablanca, Morocco, from October 11 to 20.
A report published by the official website of the International Handball Federation said: Al-Ahly confirmed its position as a dominant force in African handball, becoming the third team in history, after its rivals Zamalek and Mouloudia Algiers, to achieve the title. The African Men’s Club Championship for the third time in a row.
He continued that Al-Ahly did not face a problem in achieving the title that it won easily, as it achieved seven consecutive victories to claim its eighth title.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly achieved the third title in the African Club Handball Championship in a row and the eighth title in Its history, as the club’s titles came in the years 1985, 1993, 1994, 2012, 2016, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Al-Ahly won in the final over the Moroccan Sultan’s Forum team with a score of 31 – 20.
