Palestine displays its food industries in "World Food Week "

Abu Dhabi, October 22nd / WAM / The World Food Week activities witnessed Palestinian participation that embodied the depth of heritage and quality of manufacturing, through the presence of national companies that displayed products that express the authenticity and ancient history of Palestine in the field of food industries.
Adnan Abu Shkhidem, owner and CEO of Al-Nasr Coffee and Nuts Roasters Company in Palestine, said that the company was keen to participate in this event to present Palestinian products and introduce them to the Arab and international public, stressing that participation comes to embody the Palestinian national identity through authentic flavors and Arabic coffee known for its quality and distinction.
He added that the exhibition represented an opportunity to communicate with brothers from various Arab countries and exchange business experiences, stressing that this type of event contributes to enhancing the presence of the Palestinian product in regional and global markets, and reflects Palestine’s keenness to actively participate in the economic platforms hosted by the UAE.
He explained that the remarkable turnout of visitors to the Palestinian pavilion reflects the public’s appreciation for the quality of Palestinian products and their cultural depth, explaining that the goal of participation is to convey a message that Palestine is capable of competing with its national products that combine authenticity and high craftsmanship.
Abu Shkhidem stated that the company specializes in coffee drinks, and its products include espresso and capsules, which is what is known as the new generation of European and foreign coffee, in addition to Arabic coffee and Gulf instant coffee. He pointed out that the company recently launched a new product called “Turkish coffee,” and it represents a Palestinian innovation that has met with widespread success in the markets and gained a large share of the Arab market.
For his part, Khaled Hassan, internal marketing director at Taybat Al-Emirates, a Palestinian company specializing in marketing dates and their products, pointed out that the factory located in the city of Al Ain is one of the largest factories in the country with a production capacity of up to 6,000 tons annually, pointing out that 90% of the production is exported to various countries of the world under the name “Taybat Al-Emirates.”
He added that the company’s slogan is “The dates of the world in your hands,” as it offers products that include Emirati, Palestinian, Iraqi, and Saudi dates, and produces and markets different types of dates such as Medjool, Barhi, and Rutab, in addition to date derivatives such as jam, molasses, and dates with chocolate or nuts.
Hassan stated that the factory offers a wide range of products, including luxury dates, chocolate-covered dates, date molasses, date paste, date sugar, and fodder products made from dates, within an integrated production system, stressing that the company exports its products to 25 countries around the world and seeks to enhance its international presence and direct communication with visitors and consumers.
The Palestinian pavilion also includes a group of companies that presented products that represent the agricultural and food identity of Palestine, including Al-Andalus Company, which offers a wide range of natural products with a Palestinian imprint, Nice Bros Company, owned by a Palestinian family, and specializing in the production of sauces and salads, Al-Hathnawi Company for General Trade and Aromatic Oils, which displayed its products of natural oils extracted from Palestinian plants, and Al-Kafrawi Company for Investment and Materials. Food, which provided Palestinian agricultural products including virgin olive oil, dates, thyme mixture, Palestinian wheat, and other natural products grown in the land of Palestine.
