"Cumshot" He concludes his recording episodes and prepares for the live broadcast stage

Abu Dhabi, 23 October / WAM / The fifth and final recording episode of the twelfth season of the “Million Poet” program, produced by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, was reviewed under the slogan “Our Poem is One.” The 100 stage tests were broadcast, which lasted for three days in the period from last September 29 to the first of this October in Abu Dhabi, during which the poets took written and oral tests, in preparation for selecting the list of 48 poets who Go to the live episodes.
The tests took place in three stages, which began with the poets watching a group of films in an outdoor cinema. Each group was assigned a specific topic that dealt with an issue such as family relations, volunteering, heritage, customs and traditions, and environmental protection. This was followed by a written test, and then the next day the committee’s interviews were conducted with the participants, where the poets presented the required verses on the topics they had seen, and then each poet was asked to correct. A verse that contained a defect in meter, in addition to matching another verse with the same meter and rhyme.
The broadcast episode featured interviews with a number of participating poets, who spoke about their interviews in front of the jury, and shared their impressions about the tests they underwent, stressing that they were inspiring to them and represented a real test of their poetic abilities and confidence in performance, and an important milestone to enhance their poetic passion and desire to continue the program’s journey.
The episode included a report that reviewed the most prominent features of the eleventh season of “Million’s Poet,” in which the members of the jury spoke about excellence in poem writing and innovation in creating beauty, stressing that art represents an aesthetic state and identity for peoples. They praised the program’s progress, which was able, over its successive seasons, to consolidate the presence of Nabataean poetry and attract an elite group of poets from different environments and backgrounds. He gave the competition a rich diversity of language, images and styles.
They touched on the symbolism of “lightening” and its rootedness in the popular conscience, as a symbol of pride and belonging.
The episode also included a “podcast” report from a number of poets from previous seasons and those interested in poetry, in addition to monitoring a poetry symposium, and interviews conducted during the five rounds of the jury that addressed various topics about poetry, beauty, poetry, and memories, in addition to the importance of the program to the poetic scene.
The episode showed part of the meeting of the jury members to choose the list of 100 from among the licensed poets during the committee’s tours in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates, during which interviews were conducted with 959 male and female poets, of whom 866 received the license, while the golden card was granted to 15 poets.
The 100 tests were held with the participation of male and female poets from 13 countries, including 54 from Saudi Arabia, 32 from Kuwait, 7 from Jordan, 6 from the Sultanate of Oman, 6 from Iraq, 5 from the Emirates, 4 from Yemen, and one poet each from Syria, Tunisia, Qatar, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Sudan.
With the broadcast of the fifth recording episode, the recording episodes of the twelfth season of Million’s Poet will conclude, in preparation for the launch of the live episodes, starting on October 28, when the poets will compete on the Al Raha Beach stage in front of the jury. This will be preceded by a press conference held on October 26, during which the names of the 48 poets who qualified for the live episodes will be announced.
