Sharjah does not play as a team… and lacks personality

Sharjah coach, Serbian Milos Milojevic, confirmed that his team is going through a difficult stage after being eliminated from the President’s Cup football tournament at the hands of United Club, led by the legendary Italian Andrea Pirlo, pointing out that the team’s most prominent problem currently is the absence of group spirit on the field.

Milos said in statements after the match: “We do not play as a team. I talk a lot with the players during training, but in matches they do completely different things. Sharjah has lost the character that characterized it in recent years.”

The loss to United came to complete a difficult week for the “King”, after a harsh defeat by five against Iranian Traktor in the AFC Elite Champions League, which ignited a wave of public criticism of the team and the technical staff.
