Chris Richards: We faced the best team in the league with a complete set

 Chris Richards, Crystal Palace defender, confirmed that his team played a strong match against Arsenal despite the 1-0 loss, explaining that small details were the reason for their exit without points.

 

Richards said – in his statements to Sky Sports: “It was a close match in all aspects. Arsenal is a great team and deserved to win. Everyone knows how solid he is defensively, and we should have taken advantage of the opportunities we had.”

He added: “Fixed balls are one of their most prominent weapons at the moment. Despite that, we played with full integrity against the best team in the league.”

The Palace defender concluded his speech by saying: “We are still positive. “We accept today’s result, and we continue to work to improve.”
