A Chinese delegation visits Europe to discuss the liberalization of rare earth exports

Chinese restrictions
China announced on October 9 that it would tighten restrictions on the export of these basic materials for modern industries, electric cars, precision missiles, and even solar panels.
The measures taken by China, the world leader in the production of Rare metals, dissatisfaction with the European Union and the United States.
European Council President Antonio Costa said "We are very concerned about our trade relations with China, especially its recent measures to impose export controls on vital raw materials."
He said on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, "A high-level Chinese delegation will visit Brussels, and we hope that we can properly address this issue".
European Trouble
Reported by the New China News Agency "Xinhua" Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang expressed his country’s readiness to discuss a possible solution to the trade dispute.
The European Union protested these restrictions, stressing that they force companies to stop production and cause economic damage to supply chains.
The European Union intends to move diplomatically and at the practical industrial level to help the sectors that will be affected by these controls.
