"Muay Thai" Concludes his first participation in" Asian" Bahrain

Abu Dhabi, October 28 / WAM / Our national Muay Thai team concluded its first participation in the Asian Youth Games currently being held in Bahrain until October 31, winning 3 medals, one gold and two silver.

The team’s delegation received a distinguished reception yesterday upon its arrival at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Ali Khoury, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, and the parents and families of the players.

The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the distinguished achievements of the players Issam Khalil, who won gold in the 57 kg category for the 16-17 age group, Aya Al Shaari, who won silver in the 48 kg fighting category, and the silver medal of the duo Aziz Al Hammadi and Rakan Youssef in the team competitions (Muai Muay), consolidate the UAE’s global position in the game.

He added that what was achieved in Bahrain is an extension of the team’s remarkable excellence in the World Youth Championship – Abu Dhabi 2025, topping the overall standings of the tournament with 96 medals, including 40 gold, 21 silver and 35 bronze, especially after the game was included for the first time in the current edition of the tournament.
