Ras Al Khaimah Police organizes a forum "The family is a support and security" To enhance human communication for inmates
Ras Al Khaimah, July 13 / WAM / The Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution of the Ras Al Khaimah Police organized the “Family Support and Safety” forum, in the presence of Colonel Thiab Ali Al Harsh, Director of the Institution, and a number of officers and families of inmates, with the aim of enhancing the humanitarian aspect and effective family communication to facilitate the reintegration of inmates into society.
Colonel Dhiyab Ali Al-Harsh stressed that the forum, which is being held for the second time this year as part of the Year of the Family celebrations, translates the directives of the wise leadership in maintaining community cohesion.
He explained that the direct and collective meeting between inmates and their families, without barriers and within regulatory controls, contributes pivotally and positively to their psychological and social rehabilitation to become useful individuals.
The forum included a positive family atmosphere, which included organizing competitions and distributing prizes to families and gifts for children, in addition to displaying a group of handicrafts produced by the institution’s inmates.
