Sharjah, 28 October / WAM / The “Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators” launched the activities of its second edition of its Arts and Literature Season, which will continue until next November 3, with the aim of shedding light on the creativity of members of its institutions, “Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Sharjah Girls, and Sharjah Capacity Development Centers,” in addition to its specialized centers in music, theater, and performing arts, in various arts of expression. Literary and artistic.
The season is distinguished by its diversity and the integration of its activities, as it includes a fine art exhibition entitled “The Worlds of Arts between Craft and Imagination,” which embodies a dialogue between generations through three main axes: “From Raw to Imagination,” which embodies the innovations of the members with multiple materials so that the material becomes a language of expression, and the axis of “Memory and Identity,” which draws inspiration from the Emirati heritage from old houses to marine symbols and leadership figures to embody the relationship. Between the present and cultural roots.
The third axis is titled “Worlds Beyond Reality,” embodying the ability of art and technology to transform imagination into visual experiences vibrant with meaning and creativity.
The photo exhibition includes the creativity of the participants from the work of the “Parallel World Lens” and “AI Imagination” programs, in which they transformed written stories into digital images and created new designs for book covers, so that the artworks become a window into their imagination and their ability to transform ideas into innovative visual language.
The season also includes the arts of poetry and literature, theatrical scenes, theatrical performances, and a challenge to popular proverbs, in addition to other accompanying segments that vary from storyteller, book tour, reader of the century platform, and a story in a bottle project.
The season includes performances of the creativity of the members of the Rubu’ Qarn Center for Music in individual and group playing of the most famous Arab and international musical pieces, in addition to shedding light on the talents of the members of the Rubu’ Qarn Center for Theater and Performing Arts in a theatrical work entitled “The Suitcase.”
The season presents a group of distinctive cinematic films that are a product of the cinematic arts programs offered throughout the year and constitute an ideal opportunity to learn about the various skills acquired by the members, including writing, acting, photography and montage, in addition to directing, animation, lighting arts and sound engineering.
The sites for holding the season’s events include the College of Fine Arts at the University of Sharjah, Al Rahmaniyah Mall, and the “Zero 6” Center, in addition to the Aljada area, the Khor Fakkan Cultural Center, the Khor Fakkan Library, the Rubu’ Qarn Music Center, The Walk, Souq Sharq, and Sun Café to provide comprehensive creative artistic experiences covering the various spaces of the emirate.
