Muhammad Al-Sharqi witnesses a lecture on the future of education and stresses the importance of innovative applications in its development
Fujairah, October 29 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the necessity of employing innovative practices and applications in modern education methods and their importance in keeping pace with the renewed global transformations in all fields.
This came during His Highness’ attendance, at the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Majlis at Rumaila Palace, in a lecture entitled “The Future of Education: Between Reality and the Requirements of the Age,” presented by Raya Badshahri, an entrepreneur in the field of education and founder of the “School of Humanity.”
His Highness noted the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the education process in the emirate and enabling its growth and development through practices that support students’ intellectual skills, upgrading the education sector and supporting its competitiveness at all levels.
In her lecture, Raya Badshahri provided an in-depth reading of today’s education scene and the transformations it imposes, reviewing her experience in establishing the School of Humanity as an innovative, multidisciplinary educational model with a vision that places the learner at the heart of the educational process.
Badshahri discussed the future education navigator between reality and the needs of the times through flexible curricula and active teaching methods, and the importance of supportive community partnerships.
For his part, Dr. Ali bin Naieh Al Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, stressed the Council’s role in presenting and discussing societal and cultural topics that enhance individual awareness and contribute to expanding the horizons of dialogue and innovative learning.
The session was attended by His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, President of the University of Fujairah, and a group of academics, officials in the educational sector, and youth.
