The General Organization for Social Insurance clarified the details of the monetary amount that the injured participant receives during his period of temporary unemployment from work.

It said that the monetary value that the injured participant receives during his cessation of work due to a work injury depends on his wage recorded in Social Insurance, where he receives a daily allowance of 75% of his wage if he is being treated at the insurance expense and 100% of his wage while he is enjoying leave at home until his condition stabilizes with recovery or Disability.

How to modify the bank account

The steps to modify the bank account include the following:

  • Log in via the GOSI application.
  • Choose a service "Bank account management"
  • Enter the new bank account information.
  • Submit the application.

Excluded categories

Select the Civil and military retirement systems, and this exception does not extend to retirees among them who meet the conditions for participation in the social insurance system.

  • The foreign worker who works in a foreign international, political, or military mission.
  • Workers in agricultural, forestry, or pastoral work. This exception does not include the categories specified in Paragraph 3 of Article 2 of the Registration and Contributions Regulations.
  • Sailors who work on sea vessels for transport or fishing, and this does not include them. The exception is the categories specified in Paragraph 3 of Article 2 of the Registration and Contributions Regulations..
  • Domestic servants who work in domestic service.
  • The foreign worker who is brought to the Kingdom to do work that does not normally take more than 3 months to complete, such as visiting doctors, consultants, and the like.
  • Istisna’ who work in their homes for themselves and do not employ any workers.
  • Members of the employer’s family who work in family establishments in which he does not work. Other than them.
