Abu Dhabi Police organizes an athletics competition to enhance the fitness and physical readiness of its members

ABU DHABI, 1st November / WAM / The Police Physical Education Center at Abu Dhabi Police organized an athletics competition with the participation of a number of police sectors, as part of the Commander-in-Chief’s Shield Championship, which aims to enhance the physical fitness and high readiness of police members, and develop the spirit of competition and teamwork.

The event was witnessed by Major General Omran Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Director of the Human Resources Sector, Brigadier General Mohammed Hamad Al Kaabi, Director of the Employee Performance Department, and Colonel Mohammed Nasser Al Aisai, Deputy Director of the Police Physical Education Center, along with a number of officers and participants from various police sectors.

The Special Tasks Sector came in first place among the overall results, the Criminal Security Sector came in second place, while the Central Operations Sector came in third place.

In the individual races, the 1,500-meter race, the Special Tasks Sector came in first and second place, and the Criminal Security Sector came in third place. In the 800-meter race, the Criminal Security Sector came in first and second place, and the Special Tasks Sector came in third place. In the 400-meter race, the Special Tasks Sector came in first and second place, and the Criminal Security Sector came in third place. The Special Tasks Sector came in first place, the Criminal Security Sector came in second place, and the Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police Sciences came in third place.

At the conclusion of the competition, Major General Omran honored the winners and those in advanced positions in appreciation for their high level of fitness and professionalism, which reflects the readiness of Abu Dhabi Police personnel and their competence in various areas of police work.
