The 11th session of the Dubai International Project Management Forum begins on January 14

DUBAI, 2nd November, 2018 (WAM) – The eleventh session of the “Dubai International Project Management Forum” will start from January 14 to 15 in Madinat Jumeirah, under the slogan “Bridging Communities”, in partnership with Dubai Ports World (DP World), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority explained that the session will discuss five main topics and 16 sub-topics, and also announced the opening of registration through the forum’s website www.dipmf.ae.
The forum’s topics address the topics of the sustainable city, digital transformation, future jobs, future trends and technology, and a focus on customers.
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, stressed that the partnership with DP World, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Emaar Properties, and the Project Management Institute, in organizing the next session of the Forum, reflects the international status it has reached as a global knowledge platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge, and in support of achieving sustainable development and keeping pace with the vision of the wise leadership in establishing Dubai’s leadership as a global capital for innovation and creating the future.
His Excellency said: Partnerships with bodies and institutions that are unique in their expertise and long experience in project management confirm the growing confidence in the forum, and represent a qualitative addition that contributes to enriching the global dialogue and strengthening strategic partnerships in line with the directions of the Dubai government in leadership and anticipating the future, as the forum witnesses a review of the best global practices and the provision of creative solutions in the field of project management and highlighting Dubai’s pioneering experience in implementing strategic and iconic projects.
He added that the forum is building an integrated knowledge platform that contributes to developing the capabilities of national and international competencies and enhances the ability of governments and institutions to implement mega projects efficiently and professionally, and provide solutions that serve future generations.
For his part, His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: Organizing the Dubai International Project Management Forum for the eleventh year in a row confirms the keenness of our wise leadership to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global center of excellence in the management of major projects that support the process of comprehensive and sustainable development and contribute to enhancing the well-being of society and the happiness of citizens, residents and visitors.
