Sweihan Mazayna at Al Dhafra Festival provides a distinctive heritage experience for tourists


Sweihan, 2 November / WAM / The Sweihan Mazayna, the first stop of the Al Dhafra Festival, offers a distinctive experience for tourists and visitors from inside and outside the country, and welcomes them in a heritage atmosphere in the coffee court and the Majlis, in addition to following the camel mazayna competitions, and wandering around the popular market and the mobile restaurant and café corner.
During their visit to the Mazayna site, a number of foreign tourists expressed their admiration for the activities and competitions included in the Sweihan Mazayna, which is held in Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Square in Sweihan City, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
They stressed that the Sweihan Mazayna is an attractive destination for tourists and a station to learn about aspects of the Emirati heritage, especially the heritage related to camels and the desert. They pointed out that the atmosphere of the Mazayna and the accompanying events were distinctive and beautiful, with which they interacted with their families, and left them with a wonderful picture of the heritage and the UAE’s interest in it.
Sweihan is characterized by its golden sand, which attracts nature-loving tourists to discover its beauty and sand dunes. The area is about 73 kilometers from the city of Al Ain and about 120 kilometers from the capital, Abu Dhabi.
The Sweihan parade is considered the first stop of the camel parade at the Al Dhafra Festival, and it is held in Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Square, which is filled with many camel racing fields, camel farms and farms, in addition to the popular market and mobile restaurants and cafes accompanying the parade.
