Jordan wins first place in the Fujairah International Tennis Championship

The Jordanian national team won the cup of the first edition of the Fujairah International Tennis Championship, which was organized by the Fujairah Tennis Club in cooperation with the Emirates Tennis Federation, after defeating Qatar (2-0) in the final match held on Saturday evening, while the Iranian national team won third place.

The winners were crowned by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Tennis Club, Abdul Ghafour Yahrozian, and the Secretary-General of the Emirates Tennis Federation, Nasser Yousef Al Marzouqi.

In turn, the Secretary General of the Emirates Tennis Federation, Nasser Yousef Al Marzouqi, congratulated the winners of the first three places, stressing that the Fujairah International Team Championship opened a new page with the type of tournaments organized by the Tennis Federation, a new addition to the Fujairah Tennis Club, and a turning point in the efforts being made to develop the sport of tennis and spread its culture.

He stressed that the results produced by the tournament will be evaluated in detail, which will reflect on the development of the UAE national team players for the better.
