The Professional League announces the schedule for the Egyptian Super Cup matches in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, 4th November, 2018 (WAM) – The organizing committee of the Egyptian Super Cup for Club Football, scheduled in the capital, Abu Dhabi, from 6 to 9 November, announced its readiness to launch the event, which will be held with the participation of 4 teams: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica Cleopatra.
The event is organized by the UAE Professional League, in cooperation with the UAE and Egyptian Football Federations, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and the United Sports Company.
The committee confirmed that there will be many accompanying public events in addition to a special closing ceremony held after the final match, pointing out that it is working to achieve a qualitative shift in organizing the event.
Today, the committee announced the details of the schedule for the Super Cup matches, as it confirmed that three stadiums will host the matches. The first match will be held on November 6 between Al-Ahly and Ceramica Cleopatra at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the Al Ain region at 19:00 pm, then the match between Zamalek and Pyramids on the same day at 21:30 pm at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The match to determine third and fourth places will be held at Al Nahyan Stadium on November 9, at 16:45 pm, then the final match will be held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on the same day at 19:30 pm.
The association also announced that press conferences for the Al-Ahly and Ceramica match will be held tomorrow at 16:30 pm, with official training for Al-Ahly taking place at 19:00 pm, and for Ceramica Cleopatra at 20:15 pm.
As for the press conferences for the second match, which brings together Zamalek with Pyramids, it will also be held tomorrow at 17:45 pm, while official training for the Zamalek team will take place at 19:00 pm, and for the Pyramids team at 20:15 pm.
The Super Teams completed their arrival in Abu Dhabi yesterday in preparation for the upcoming event, as starting today they are training on the designated stadiums in preparation for the start of the confrontations on Thursday.
