library "Abu Dhabi Prince Equestrian Arts" It documents the importance of horses in the civilization, culture and history of the Emirates

ABU DHABI, 4th November, 2018 (WAM) – The Abu Dhabi Princely Equestrian Arts has confirmed that the library attached to it includes about 14,000 books about horses and their importance in the civilization, culture and history of the Emirates, and is considered the first in the field of equestrianism in the Arab world, and among the largest libraries in the world.

Reem Al Mubarak, Head of the Cultural Department, explained that the “Abu Dhabi Princely Equestrian Arts” is the first of its kind in the Arab world and outside Europe, and the fifth in the world in classical equestrian, and includes various fields in education, culture, civilization, history, and multiple cultural destinations, including the equestrian exhibition, which talks about the relationship between humans and horses over time, from the second century to the nineteenth century.

She pointed out providing training programs in the classical equestrian arts, for professional and amateur riders, through an academic curriculum that focuses on precision, harmony, and artistic discipline, in accordance with international standards, and receiving students under specific conditions to join its programs.

She pointed out the importance of partnerships with specialized equestrian clubs nationwide, and increasing them in the future, to achieve a distinguished equestrian legacy in the UAE, in addition to teaching saddlery and horse supplies at Dar Al Harf, which are linked to the history and culture of the UAE.
