Hamdan bin Mohammed approves the “Aviation Talent 33” initiative to provide 15,000 job opportunities for citizens

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, chaired the Executive Council meeting within the annual meetings of the UAE government.
The Executive Council approved the “Aviation Talent 33” initiative, which seeks to consolidate and strengthen Dubai’s position as the aviation capital of the world in light of the increasing demand in the aviation and transportation sector. This is done by creating a unified path to empower local aviation talent and attract its competencies in various specializations, in addition to future training and employment supported by artificial intelligence, while providing guaranteed career paths.
The initiative aims to prepare national, local and international cadres in various aviation specializations and related fields, so that they are prepared for the future, comprehensive in skills, and technological leadership, thus enhancing the distinguished world-class operation of Dubai airports and Al Maktoum International Airport, which will be the largest in the world, and also supports the aviation system in the United Arab Emirates in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
The most important objectives of the initiative include enhancing the role of qualified and trained Emirati talent and attracting them to the aviation sector in various leadership and functional roles, in a way that supports the strategic goals of Emiratisation, in addition to providing more than 15,000 job opportunities, more than 4,000 opportunities for training and skills development, and concluding strategic partnerships with more than 30 companies in the aviation sector within the Aviation Talent Network 33.
The initiative contributes to supporting the achievement of Dubai’s economic agenda D33including contributing to doubling the size of Dubai’s economy, attracting 650 billion dirhams in direct investments, and integrating 65,000 Emirati citizens into the private sector, in addition to the Dubai Social Agenda 33, by empowering Emirati individuals to achieve their self-sufficiency and financial independence, as well as consolidating its position as an international aviation center and a preferred global destination for the sector’s talents and competencies.
Aviation Talent 33 will be supported by a steering committee from the aviation sector that sets strategic directions and oversees policy alignment and approval of investments and projects supporting the initiative.
