Typhoon Kalmaigi leaves great devastation in the Philippines

Hurricane Kalmaigi, which recently struck the Philippines, left dozens dead, while residents in the most affected province of Cebu face a scene of devastation with homes turning into rubble, debris piling up in the streets, and life turning upside down.
In Talisay City, survivors search through the rubble for anything salvageable.
As the torrential waters resulting from the hurricane receded in Cebu City, the most prominent tourist center in the Philippines, scenes of devastation appeared clear, including collapsed homes, overturned vehicles, and debris covering large areas.
Among dozens of victims, six soldiers died after their helicopter crashed in Agusan del Sur on the island of Mindanao while carrying out a humanitarian mission, and the Disaster Management Agency announced that 26 people remained missing and 10 others were injured.
The devastation caused by Hurricane Kalmaiji, locally called Tino, comes just one month after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck northern Cebu, killing dozens and displacing thousands.
