Egypt announces a new gas discovery in Western Sahara

Cairo, 8 November / WAM / The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt announced a new natural gas discovery in the Badr-15 region in the Western Desert, which was placed on the production map immediately at a rate of 16 million cubic feet of gas per day.

The ministry said that the discovery is expected to contribute to adding about 15 billion cubic feet of gas to the reserves, from the lower marine reservoir.
