The Saudi stock market index declined () at the beginning of trading today, Monday, by 0.25% at the level of 11,216 points, with trades worth 168.3 million riyals.
According to "Tadawul Saudi Arabia"The amount of shares traded at the opening of the session amounted to about 8.75 million shares, while the market value reached 9.466 trillion riyals.
Shares of 123 companies decreased
Shares of 123 companies opened trading today on a decline, while shares of 96 companies rose out of a total of 262 companies listed on the main market.
The companies were: Dar Al Arkan, United Insurance, Ground Services, Gulf General, and Al Ahli. REIT 1 rose the most, while the most prominent declines were for the shares of: Flynas, Gulf Training, Tanmia, BAN, and Bupa Arabia.
Parallel Market
The Parallel Market Index rose (Growth) with the start of trading on Monday by 0.35% at the level of 24,440 points, with trades amounting to 265 thousand riyals, and the amount of shares 82.5 thousand shares, while the market value reached 44.1 million riyals.
The beginning of the session witnessed an increase in the shares of 8 companies, compared to a decrease in the share of one company, out of a total of 125 companies listed in the parallel market.
