The National Junior Basketball Association announces the date and location of the final exams
NBA Africa, through its office in Cairo, announced the extension of the registration period for the Junior National Basketball Association (Jr. NBA League 2026) program, to provide an additional opportunity for those wishing to join one of the most prominent sports talent development initiatives in Egypt.
The organization confirmed that the final day for tests and evaluation will be Friday, November 14, 2025, on The Club Club in 6th of October City, where participating players will undergo skill tests under the supervision of NBA-certified coaches, in preparation for selecting the best players to join the program’s teams.
The National Basketball Association Junior League aims to discover and develop emerging talents in Egyptian basketball, through a program that extends for six months, and includes intensive training three times a week, and official competitions between 30 teams representing various regions of Greater Cairo, leading to the finals that witness the presence of a legend. The program is implemented in cooperation with Maven Development, the official partner of the tournament, continues to support youth and sports development projects in Egypt. The program targets age groups born in 2011, 2012 and 2013, provided that the player is not currently registered with the Egyptian Basketball Federation, with participation open completely free of charge.
NBA Africa called on all schools, academies and parents to seize this last opportunity to enroll their children in the league, stressing that the program represents a real platform for creating a new generation of Egyptian basketball stars in accordance with international professional standards.
