The President of the State honors the contributors and supporters of the initiative "Stop life" In appreciation of their role in establishing a national model for sustainable health endowment
Abu Dhabi, 11 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today honored the contributors and supporters of the “Life Endowment” initiative, from individuals and institutions, in appreciation of their giving and contributions to establishing a national model of sustainable health endowment that embodies the values of giving and giving established in Emirati society, and strengthens the health care system that supports patients with chronic diseases, people of determination, and the most needy groups.
During the honoring ceremony held at the Qasr Al Bahr Council in Abu Dhabi, His Highness the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the “Waqf Al-Life” initiative and transformed it into a tributary that strengthens the role of the health sector in Abu Dhabi and consolidates its approach in achieving sustainable community development in addition to supporting the national endowment work system in a way that embodies the spirit of social responsibility and the values of giving in the Emirati society.
His Highness stressed that the culture of endowment and giving represents an integral pillar of the state’s journey and embodies the noble values established by the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” which we continue to strengthen today through specific initiatives that achieve a sustainable development and humanitarian impact.
His Highness the President of the State also honored the donors to the “Endowment of Life” campaign, including individuals, institutions and companies from the public and private sectors, in appreciation of their role in supporting the campaign and achieving its goals as an Emirati model for endowment and health work. Their significant qualitative, financial and in-kind initiatives contributed to expanding the scope of the initiative, formulating its vision, developing its institutional and investment system, and establishing governance and sustainability frameworks to ensure effective management of endowment assets and resources, in a way that embodies broad societal confidence in the initiative’s mission. And its noble vision of supporting quality health services.
His Highness also honored the team of the Endowments and Minor Funds Management Authority in Abu Dhabi, “Abu Dhabi Endowments”, in appreciation of their efforts in implementing the initiative, disseminating endowment values, and consolidating the concept of endowment as a development tool that supports social solidarity, in addition to highlighting the pioneering role of the UAE in supporting charitable and humanitarian initiatives, and promoting social investment to serve the most needy groups.
His Excellency Abdul Hamid Mohammed Saeed, Chairman of the Endowments and Palace Funds Management Authority, “Abu Dhabi Endowments,” said: “Honoring His Highness the President of the State’s contributors to the “Life Endowment” is a badge of trust that consolidates the value of humanitarian giving, which establishes the endowment’s position as a pivotal partner in supporting the health and social systems in the country, and a catalyst for expanding the fields of charitable giving to include specific initiatives that elevate human status and dignity.”
For his part, His Excellency Fahd Abdul Qadir Al Qassim, Director General of Abu Dhabi Endowments, said: “The Life Endowment is a model of sustainable endowment work, based on investing assets and developing their returns to serve patients and the most needy groups, within a framework of governance and transparency that ensures continuity of impact, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to build a healthy society that enjoys quality of life… indicating that the Authority is proceeding in this framework by developing its partnerships with national institutions and the private sector, in a way that contributes to maximizing the impact of the endowment.” And expanding the base of beneficiaries, in line with the state’s priorities in building a healthy and sustainable society.”
This honor embodies the UAE’s established humanitarian approach and its wise leadership in supporting charitable and giving initiatives, and consolidating the culture of endowment as a sustainable development system that contributes to enhancing the quality of life, providing the elements for a decent living for members of society, and consolidating the values of human solidarity and interdependence inside and outside the country, in addition to embodying the UAE’s vision of transforming community initiatives into institutional development projects that contribute to building a more prosperous and prosperous future.
