"Emirates Balanced Development" Announces the start of project implementation "Masfout Gate"

Abu Dhabi, November 12 / WAM / The Emirates Council for Balanced Development announced the start of implementation of a new qualitative development project in the Masfoot area in the Emirate of Ajman, as part of its efforts to promote sustainable development in various regions of the country.
The “Masfoot Gate” project is part of the Council’s strategic initiatives aimed at developing the villages and regions of the Emirates, upgrading their vital services and facilities, and transforming them into attractive destinations that reflect the national identity and keep pace with the requirements of modern development.
The project embodies the Council’s vision of linking urban development with cultural and geographical identity, and transforming Emirati villages into vibrant destinations that reflect the authenticity of the place, and give visitors an integrated experience that combines nature, culture and heritage.
The project is being built on a building area of 500 square meters, with a height of 16 meters and an architectural walkway of 40 meters in length, to serve as an integrated urban edifice linking the Masfoot Museum, the Owl Tower, and Falaj Al-Waraa via continuous and uninterrupted mountain hiking trails, thus enhancing the ease of movement for nature lovers and mountain adventure enthusiasts.
Masfout has a unique natural and cultural location, combining rocky slopes and a moderate climate to form an ideal destination for mountain trips, as this distinctive character has made it a favorite destination for picnickers and local families.
Masfout was also crowned the “Best Tourist Village for the Year 2025” by the United Nations Tourism Organization, an achievement that reflects its distinction and attractiveness as an integrated tourist and development destination that embodies the spirit of Emirati identity.
With the launch of the “Masfoot Gate” project, a new urban and cultural value will be added to the region, as the gate will form an architectural icon that links local heritage and modern identity and provides visitors with an integrated experience that transcends the boundaries of the place and opens new horizons for discovering Emirati culture in its interaction with mountainous nature.
Through this project, the Emirates Council for Balanced Development aims to support balanced development paths and achieve a sustainable quality of life, and provides the opportunity to discover the beauties of the Emirati mountainous environment within a pioneering urban and tourism experience.
