The Emirati Floating Hospital in Al-Arish performs a qualitative surgical intervention for a young Palestinian man

The Emirati Floating Hospital in Al-Arish continues to provide medical and humanitarian services to the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3”, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the wounded and providing specialized health care that contributes to saving lives and providing urgent humanitarian support.

As part of these ongoing humanitarian efforts, the medical team at the hospital performed a delicate surgery on a young Palestinian man, who was suffering from compound fractures in the right leg and right arm, in addition to complications from previous injuries.

The operation included a deep cleaning of the wound, and the installation of a specialized suction device to ensure rapid recovery and prevent any additional complications.

The patient is currently undergoing the necessary medical care, as he receives physical therapy sessions from the specialized staff on board the hospital, as part of an integrated treatment plan that guarantees him the best levels of care.

The director of the Emirati Floating Hospital, Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, confirmed that the patient is subject to careful care, as he follows an intensive physical therapy program with the specialized team from the hospital, to ensure speedy recovery and restoration of his abilities, while providing the necessary psychological and humanitarian support during the recovery phase.

He explained that the role of the Emirati floating hospital is not limited to medical care and performing surgical operations, but rather extends to providing psychological and social care to patients and companions, ensuring an integrated therapeutic environment that promotes rapid recovery and alleviates the suffering of patients, which reflects the UAE’s continued humanitarian commitment towards our Palestinian brothers.

The Emirati Floating Hospital in Al-Arish has been providing its services to the Palestinian brothers from the Gaza Strip since its inauguration in February of last year, as it continues to receive various cases, including micro-surgeries, orthopedics, rehabilitation and physical therapy, in addition to psychological and social support, within an integrated humanitarian system that embodies the UAE’s established humanitarian approach in standing by those affected and providing them with sustainable health support.
