"Hub71" It enters into a partnership with the Portuguese City Council of Lisbon to accelerate the expansion of startups
Lisbon, Portugal, November 13 / WAM / Hub71, the global technology ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Unicorn Factory Lisboa, affiliated with the Lisbon City Council, with the aim of promoting innovation and entrepreneurship across the borders between the UAE and Portugal.
This partnership comes as a continuation of Hub71’s strategy aimed at strengthening the position of the Middle East and Europe as a corridor for innovation, enabling business founders around the world to access new markets, capital, and broad growth opportunities.
Launched in 2022, Unicorn Factory Lisboa seeks to empower entrepreneurs through incubation, acceleration and scale-up programmes. Since its establishment, the initiative has provided support to more than 820 startups, with a total value exceeding one billion euros.
Under the agreement, Hub71, in collaboration with Unicorn Factory Lisboa, will work to create a coordinated framework that enables startups to expand internationally by providing shared resources and enabling market access.
The partnership includes startup exchange programs, cross-promotion of initiatives, and joint market entry pathways, which allow company founders to expand into Europe, the UAE, and the Middle East and North Africa region.
