Iron prices decline and electrical wires rise in Saudi Arabia


Data from the General Authority for Statistics revealed a discrepancy in Construction goods during the month of October 2025 compared to the previous month of September, where iron prices witnessed a noticeable decline, while the prices of electrical cables increased in general.

Iron prices in Saudi Arabia

All sizes Reinforcing steel (National) A decline in prices, as 10 mm rebar topped the list with the largest decrease of 1.1%, bringing the price per ton to 2,677.3 riyals in October compared to 2,705.6 riyals in September. The price of 12 mm rebar also decreased by 1%, recording 2,511.1 riyals per ton, and 14 mm rebar decreased by 1% to 2,513.6 riyals per ton.

16 mm steelreinforcement also decreased by 1%, reaching 2,512.6 riyals per ton, while the price of 18 mm reinforcement steel decreased by 0.9% to 2,520 riyals per ton.

Cable and wire prices

Most National Electrical Cables had varying heights, as the price of 10 mm cables rose by 2.8%, reaching 22.5 riyals per meter.

The price of 25 mm cables rose by 2.5%, recording 49.3 riyals per meter, and the price of 50 mm cables increased by 2.3%, reaching 90.2 riyals per meter.

The price of 35 mm cables recorded an increase. by 2.3% to reach 64.4 riyals per meter, while the price of 95 mm cables increased by 2.3% to 177.5 riyals per meter.

Wood and aluminum

in the Timber, Romanian wood rose by 1% to reach 1,457.3 riyals per cubic meter, while the price of African wood (teac) rose by 0.2%, recording 6,813.7 riyals per cubic meter.

The price of Chilean wood stabilized at 1,493.6 riyals per cubic meter, with a slight decline of 0.1%, while the price of Indonesian wood (placa) decreased by 0.1% to 3,099.4 riyals per cubic meter.

The price of aluminum (side ring) rose by 0.6% to reach 91.2 riyals per piece of 5.8 metres. The price of coal stabilized, recording 11.1 riyals per kilo in October, unchanged from the previous September.
