There is no penalty kick for “Al-Abyad” against Iraq

Arbitration expert Yaqoub Al Hammadi confirmed that Australian referee Shaun Evans managed the UAE-Iraq match with high efficiency. He said that the match did not witness any real test of his refereeing abilities, and that canceling the goal scored by the “White” player Caio Lucas was a sound decision.
Al-Hammadi told Al-Emarat Al-Youm: “There was no penalty kick due to the Emirati team during the match, and what happened on the part of the Iraqi defender with the Emirati striker inside the box does not amount to a decision from the whistle, and the referee’s decision was completely correct.”
Al-Hammadi touched on the cancellation of the UAE’s goal, which was scored by Caio Lucas in the 95th minute, explaining that the decision was 100% correct: “The situation was clearly offside for the Emirati player, and the assistant referee counted it and it was confirmed accurately by the mouse technique.”
He added: “The Australian referee was able to impose his personality on the match despite its difficulty and the state of enthusiasm that the players of both teams were in. Perhaps the most notable thing is that he did not show the yellow card once throughout the match, which is evidence of his good control over the course of the match.”
Al Hammadi concluded his statements by saying: “The referee deserved a rating of 8.3 out of ten, which is a very high percentage for any referee who runs football matches, and reflects the professional performance he presented during a difficult and tense confrontation like this.”
