Al-Wasl qualified for the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League 2 after defeating Al-Zawraa of Iraq by four goals to two, today, Tuesday, in the second leg of the round of 16 at Al-Wasl Stadium in Zabeel, after “The Emperor” played a historic match in which he turned a two-goal deficit into a victory by four goals to two.

Al-Zawraa finished the first half ahead with a goal scored by Ibrahim Tumioa in the 21st minute. The second half witnessed a strong start from Al Wasl after substitute Palacios scored the equalizer (46), before Al-Zawraa scored a surprise goal from a counter-attack finished by Ibrahim Tumioa in the goal (65). Excitement rose when Miguel Borja scored the second goal for Al Wasl (76), and in the third minute of stoppage time Adrillson scored the third goal, and the player decided for himself. The match took place in the second extra period, with him scoring the fourth goal (110), so that the “Panthers” qualified for the quarter-finals.
