Emirates Airlines is preparing for a busy travel season at Dubai Airport during the month of December

Dubai, 14 November / WAM / Emirates Airlines has called on all its customers to plan their trips in advance during the month of December, as the carrier expects significant growth in travel traffic throughout the month, especially with the start of the winter tourism season, and this coincides with multiple local events and holidays and the amendment to the academic calendar issued by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, which allows a long school holiday for most of the month of December.

Emirates Airlines expects to serve more than 2.3 million departures and more than 2.5 million arrivals through its flight network during the month.

Emirates Airlines recommended that its customers prepare early for their flights this month, taking into account the possibility of congestion on the roads leading to the airport, full parking lots, and traffic activity inside the airport during the holiday season.

She noted that travelers can benefit from a range of smart services that allow them a faster and smoother travel experience throughout the peak season in December.

The carrier advised travelers to arrive early at the airport and arrive at least 3 hours before their flight departure times, to complete travel procedures and arrive at the correct departure gate one hour before the flight time.

She also advised downloading the Emirates Airlines application, completing travel procedures electronically, registering in the biometric path system for a faster experience at the airport, completing travel procedures and dropping off luggage at the travel store, completing travel procedures at the Dubai Financial Center and earning Skywards miles, dropping off luggage at the airport 24 hours before departure, completing travel procedures from home, and ensuring that the luggage conforms to Emirates Airlines’ requirements.
