The Central African government reactivates the hotline to secure the upcoming elections

The Central African government, in cooperation with its technical and financial partners, launched in Bangui, the country’s capital, a dedicated hotline to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming elections scheduled for December 28.

The Ministry of Public Security in Central Africa explained that the reactivation of the “Green Line” came due to its proven effectiveness during the 2020-2021 elections, as it will allow citizens to immediately report any incident or situation that may hinder the conduct of the electoral process.

The Director of the Ministry’s Office, Samuel Talit Ekoma, indicated, as reported by the “Ndjoni Sango” website: The African News Agency noted that this initiative represents “an essential tool to ensure security and transparency.” Upcoming electoral elections.

The Ministry, with the support of its partners, also plans to launch an awareness campaign in Bangui and other regions to encourage all voters to use this service
