74 horses in the second race at Jebel Ali Racecourse

The second race in the new season at Jebel Ali Racecourse begins at 2:00 p.m. today, and includes seven rounds, the first half of which is dedicated to purebred Arabian horses, followed by six rounds for purebred hybrid horses, sponsored by a number of leading institutions and companies in the country, with total prizes amounting to 620 thousand dirhams, and 74 of the best local and international horses competing for their titles.
The first half was devoted to a distance of 1,000 meters, with the participation of 16 purebred Arabian horses in the beginner category, aged four years and above, for the title of “Porsche Cup” and prizes amounting to 50 thousand dirhams.
The excitement continues on its way to the fifth and sixth halves, classified in the “Parity” category, with prizes of 120,000 dirhams each, with the Speed Championship sponsored by the “Emirates Speed Racing Series” that attracted 9 of the elite horses over the 1,000-meter sandy distance, followed by the “Emirates Airline Cup,” which in turn attracted seven of the best horses over the mile (1,600-meter) sandy race.
