Partnership between "Noatum Marine" and"Siemens Energy" and"Green Parrot Tech" To cooperate in marine renewable energy projects

ABU DHABI, 17th November, 2017 (WAM) – Notom Marine, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Ports Group and the leading provider of maritime services in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Siemens Energy, one of the leading global companies in energy technology, and Green Parrot Tech (GBT), which specializes in providing integrated services for maritime operations, to explore opportunities for cooperation in renewable energy projects generated at marine sites.
Under the agreement, the parties will seek to employ their joint capabilities and expertise to support and develop marine renewable energy infrastructure, including substations and electrical power networks.
By leveraging their diverse expertise in the areas of electrical systems, engineering and design, subsea services, marine logistics and manufacturing, the partners seek to create a unified framework that provides comprehensive solutions for renewable energy project developers.
This joint approach aims to reduce points of overlap between projects, simplify coordination processes, and provide an integrated platform that facilitates the development of complex marine projects. The partners also intend to study future opportunities related to floating power stations and floating units to reconvert energy into gas.
