المملكة: "Saudi Scouts" Participates in the 31st Arab Scout Conference in Abu Dhabi
started Saudi Arabian Scouts Association today its official participation in the activities of The 31st Arab Scout Conference, hosted by the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi until November 21, 2025, with the participation of delegations and leaders The Scout Movement from 19 Arab countries.
The Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, witnessed the launch of the conference, where he was briefed on its most prominent topics that reflect the pioneering role of the Scout Movement in consolidating the values of responsibility, developing the skills of young people, and enhancing their participation in serving their communities.
He stressed the keenness of the wise leadership in the UAE to support and empower youth. In a way that contributes to developing their capabilities and enhancing their presence in the development process.
Dialogue sessions
The conference activities were launched with a wide presence of Arab and international scouting figures, as the first day witnessed a dialogue session that dealt with scouting developments at the global and regional levels, in addition to presenting the report and recommendations of the Sixth Arab Scout Youth Forum, and holding the conference’s preparatory session, which included the election and appointment of work committees.
At the conclusion of the first day’s work, the head of the association’s delegation, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudayres, stressed the importance of the Kingdom’s participation in this important regional event, as it provides opportunities to exchange experiences and strengthen Arab scouting partnerships.
He pointed out that the Kingdom attaches great importance to the scouting movement that contributes to achieving its educational and societal goals, supporting youth empowerment programs and stimulating their active participation in voluntary and development initiatives.
