"Dubai Police" and"Municipality" In the wheelchair basketball final at “Nad Al Sheba Sports”
Dubai, March 3 / WAM / The final of the wheelchair basketball tournament will be held tomorrow as part of the thirteenth edition of the Nad Al Sheba Ramadan Sports Tournament, which is being held under the slogan “Limitless Capabilities.”
The final at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex brings together the teams of the Dubai Police General Headquarters and the Dubai Municipality, after the former qualified after defeating the Dubai Courts with a score of 34-18 in the semi-final, while the Dubai Municipality team reached the final match after defeating the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority with a score of 38-16.
In the tug of war competitions for the government institutions category, the National Guard team continued its brilliance for the second day in a row, defeating the Dubai Police team by two clean sets, with the same score in the match that followed, and the Dubai Civil Defense team defeated the Dubai Police with the same score.
In the community category, the Al-Jawareh team defeated the “AG Mustafa 1” team with a score of 2-1, the “W World Gym” team defeated “Transguard” 2-0, the Mahdawi and Al-Harbi team defeated “Raptor Gym” 2-0, the IFBB Sports Academy team also defeated “The Fighters” 2-0, the Al-Ajban team defeated “Avalar” 2-0, and the Wasl team defeated “Avalar Group” 2-0. Dutco Construction 2-0, the Level Up team defeated the Mangalore Warriors 2-0, and the Global team defeated Olympia 2-0.
In the volleyball competitions, the “Al-Samawi” team reserved the ticket to qualify for the semi-finals after topping the first group with 6 points, achieving its third consecutive victory over the “Yazar” team with a score of 3-1, while “Yazar” came in second place, ensuring in turn qualification to the semi-finals scheduled to be held next Thursday.
