12 tournaments in one day within the “Hafeet Sports Challenge”
Al Ain, 3 March / WAM / The city of Al Ain witnessed a busy night as part of the “Hafeet Sports Challenge 2026” activities, where 12 simultaneous tournaments were held in one day, in an event organized by the Al Ain City Municipality in cooperation with Al Ain Club and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, as part of efforts to establish sports as a way of life during the month of Ramadan.
Activities for People of Determination included bowling competitions, five-a-side football, and hand and bicycle races, where the Abu Dhabi Club was crowned the five-a-side football champion after defeating Qasr Al Ain 2-0, while Qasr Al Muwaiji came third, in a tournament that embodied the spirit of will and discipline.
The tournament also attracted international participation in badminton and table tennis, while the DCC Al Ain team booked its place in the semi-finals of the Al Ain Ramadan Cricket Cup, and the Al Shuaiba team was crowned champion of the Residential Neighborhood Volleyball Championship.
The competitions turned into platforms for community convergence, confirming the status of the “Hafeet Sports Challenge” as an event that strengthens national identity and instills a culture of sports as a sustainable lifestyle.
