"Trends" Participates in the Kuwait International Book Fair


Abu Dhabi, November 18 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation is participating, for the first time, in the activities of the 48th edition of the Kuwait International Book Fair, which is organized by the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature under the slogan “Homeland of the Book / Capital of Culture”, and begins tomorrow and continues until November 29, at the International Fairgrounds in Mushrif.
In its special pavilion, the Center displays more than 500 research and knowledge publications, including in-depth studies in the fields of cyber and strategic security, the global economy, geopolitical transformations, technology, artificial intelligence, and future technologies, in addition to organizing a series of events, dialogue seminars, and intellectual meetings, which aim to enrich the public debate on current issues occupying the global arena.
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center for Research and Consultation, said that the Kuwait International Book Fair is a vital intellectual and knowledge platform for the convergence of ideas and the exchange of visions between academics, thinkers, researchers and experts, which enhances the role of think tanks and research institutions in formulating qualitative research and studies.
He explained that participation comes within the framework of the center’s strategy aimed at strengthening its presence in international intellectual forums, based on its belief in the importance of book fairs as strategic platforms for the cross-fertilization of ideas and the exchange of experiences.
For his part, Hazza Al-Hammadi, Head of the Exhibitions Department in the Distribution and Exhibitions Department at Trends, stressed the strategic importance of participating in the Kuwait International Book Fair, indicating that participation is consistent with the center’s mission that seeks to spread purposeful knowledge and make its publications available to a wider segment of specialists, researchers, and the general public interested in scientific research in various parts of the world.
For his part, Zayed Al Dhaheri, Head of the Distribution Department in the Distribution and Exhibitions Department at Trends, explained that the Center’s participation in this major cultural and knowledge event confirms the role of think tanks in shaping the global cultural and intellectual scene, indicating that the Center’s pavilion will contribute to introducing the Center’s publications, which exceed 500 books, in addition to also introducing the Center’s various research, training and advisory services.
