Without makeup or filter.. Asala Nasri raises controversy with a photo that was deleted minutes after it was published

A photo of the Syrian artist Asala Nasri, taken with composer Mahmoud Khayami, spread, in which she appeared without makeup or any visual modification, making her name to the top of search engines and trends during the past hours.

The photo spread very quickly, especially because it showed Asala with a completely natural look, far from the strong makeup and filters usual in photos of celebrities, which sparked a wave of mixed comments among the public.

However, composer Mahmoud Khayami later deleted the photo from his account, before re-publishing an edited version showing Asala with a softer appearance, then deleting it again, which raised more questions about the motives for the edit, and whether the step was at the request of the artist or out of respect for her privacy.

In addition, users of social media platforms circulated a video clip showing Asala with her husband, Faiq Hassan, at a family evening, after rumors spread about their separation during the past days.
