The UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation signs a cooperation agreement with Palms Sports Company

Abu Dhabi, November 19 / WAM / The UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation signed a cooperation agreement with Palms Sports Company, with the aim of improving the technical system and enhancing development programs for Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. The agreement was signed at Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi on the sidelines of the activities of the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship by His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, and Fouad Fahmi Darwish, CEO of Palms Sports, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

The agreement is based on a set of main axes, including developing artistic programs, exchanging specialized experiences, and organizing tournaments and joint events.

His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri confirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of the federation’s strategic direction to develop sports performance. He said in this regard: “This cooperation represents an important step towards strengthening the sports development process led by the federation. This agreement will provide a broader space for knowledge exchange between the two sides, which will contribute to developing joint initiatives to serve athletes, and enhancing the presence of jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts at the local and international levels.”

In turn, Fouad Fahmi Darwish said: “We are pleased to strengthen cooperation with the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, and through this agreement we aim to provide integrated development solutions that ensure the transfer of knowledge and support the sustainability of sports programs in the long term.”

He added: “We have a long partnership with the UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation, based on the unity of goals and aspirations, and this agreement constitutes an extension of this partnership and contributes to strengthening it. We are honored to be a strategic partner of the Federation, and this agreement constitutes a pivotal turning point in the process of joint cooperation, and one of the most important partnerships that have crystallized between the public and private sectors in the process of sports under the vision of our wise leadership.”
