More than 3.7 million visitors to Medina during the second quarter of 2025
The Saudi General Authority for Statistics revealed that the total number of visitors to Medina during the second quarter of 2025 from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounted to 3.767 million visitors.
The Authority stated – in its bulletin issued today, Thursday, and reported by the Saudi News Agency “SPA” , that the number of visitors coming to Medina from outside the Kingdom reached 2,102,425 million visitors, male and female, with males comprising 46.1%, while the percentage of females was 53.9%.
It also indicated that the total number of visitors to Medina from within the Kingdom for religious purposes during the same period amounted to 1,665,341 million male and female visitors, including 766,165 thousand visitors. Saudis represent “46%” Of the total visitors, while the number of non-Saudi visitors from within reached (899,176) thousand visitors, representing “54%”, male visitors recorded from within the percentage of (68.5%), compared to (31.5%) for females.
These indicators show the continued growth in the movement of religious visits to Medina, and reflect the continuous efforts of the relevant authorities to enhance the visitor experience and raise the level of quality of services. Introduction.
