Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council launches "Youth Pioneers Forum" In Mumbai

Mumbai, November 20 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council, affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, today launched the “Youth Entrepreneurs Forum” as a global platform aimed at attracting young entrepreneurs to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The launch comes on the sidelines of the first international edition of the forum in Mumbai, India, which brought together more than 50 participants from innovators, young pioneers, and startup owners affiliated with the Youth India (Yi) platform.

During the Youth Pioneers Forum, attendees learned about opportunities to establish and expand their projects from Abu Dhabi, which is today a leading destination for international investments and a business environment with global competitive indicators, supported by digital transformation, consolidating innovation, and developing talent.

The forum highlighted the elements that consolidate Abu Dhabi’s position as a global center for future sectors.

Participants provided practical insights into mechanisms for supporting young founders, licensing and market access steps, and the support available to startups to achieve sustainable expansion.

The forum will be an annual mobile platform organized in selected capitals regionally and globally, with the aim of enhancing Abu Dhabi’s presence as a preferred destination for establishing and developing projects, and consolidating its role as a global center for innovative projects.

The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council continues to implement specific initiatives to enhance the entrepreneurship environment. The Council also provides an integrated support system targeting entrepreneurs and the new generation of project owners, including providing financing opportunities, business development programs, and specialized training programs, in addition to individual consultations and professional and commercial guidance, which contributes to enabling young people to launch and expand in accordance with international best practices.

The forum witnessed the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council signing a memorandum of understanding with the Youth India Platform (Yi), the body responsible for representing youth in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), with the aim of enhancing cooperation between young entrepreneurs on both sides and facilitating the establishment and expansion of emerging companies in the UAE and Indian markets.

The agreement was signed in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and His Excellency Shams Ali Al Dhaheri, Second Deputy Chairman and Managing Director. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by a number of officials from the Indian side.

The agreement was signed by Mansoor Abdul Jabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council, and Mr. Tarang Khurana, National Chairman of the India Youth (Yi) Platform, on the sidelines of the Young Entrepreneurs Forum in Mumbai.

The memorandum stipulates cooperation in areas including business establishment, market entry, and knowledge exchange, in addition to organizing training programs, trade missions, and joint initiatives. The two parties will also work to introduce entrepreneurs to the opportunities available in vital sectors such as technology, innovation, and small and medium-sized companies.
