Shabab Al-Ahly goalkeeper, Hamad Al-Muqbali, confirmed that the victory achieved by his team over Khor Fakkan with an unanswered goal in the eighth round of the ADNOC Professional League was difficult and important, given the strength of the competitor at its stadium and in front of its fans.

Al-Muqbali said in press statements: “The victory was difficult against a strong team on its home soil, and it is not easy to come up with a positive result, even if it was a draw from Khor Fakkan Stadium, except with great efforts from everyone. We missed many chances that could have decided the match early.”

Regarding his reaching 7 clean sheets out of 8 and conceding only one goal this season, Al-Muqbali explained that the credit does not go to him alone, but rather to the team’s collective defensive organization, and he said: “This achievement is the result of teamwork.” I was hoping that we would not concede any goals yet, but the most important thing is that we continue to develop. “Shabab Al-Ahly creates many chances, but only lacks the finishing touch, and we will address that in the upcoming matches.”
