“Dubai Basketball” renews its victory over “Partizan”… and is close to winning the “Adriatic League” title

The Dubai Basketball Team has taken an important step towards winning the Adriatic Basketball Association League title (ABA League) for the 2025-2026 season, after its success in renewing its victory over its guest, defending champion Partizan Belgrade, with a score of (86-81), in the match that brought them together today, Saturday, at the “Coca-Cola Arena” in Dubai, in the second confrontation of the final round series. With this victory, the Dubai Basketball Team advanced in the final series of five matches, with a score of (2-0), after achieving victory on the fourth of this month over Partizan Belgrade of Serbia in the opening of the series with a score of (99-93).

The Dubai Basketball team is now one step away from winning the title, which depends on its ability to achieve victory in either of the next two matches that will be held in Belgrade on June 10 and 12, or wait, if necessary, to go to the fifth and deciding match in the final series, which is scheduled for the 16th of this month.

The second match was close between the two teams, after a first quarter in which the Partizan team ended with a four-point lead and a score of (24-20), before the Dubai Basketball team was able to equalize the score at the end of the first half (42-42) with its players gaining the advantage in the second quarter score of (22-18).

With the start of the second half, the Dubai Basketball team continued to impose its fast pace, ending the third period of the match with a two-point lead (68-66) with its players gaining the advantage with the result of the third quarter by (26-24).

Serbian Alexa Avramovic topped the list of scorers for the Dubai team with 16 points, while his Bosnian teammate Dzanan Musa added 15 points, as the duo led the team to an important victory in the final series, in what was the last match for the Dubai team at home, before heading to Serbia with the ambition of snatching a victory that would enable them to early clinch the title, without the need to complete the final series.
