المملكة: December 13: The first test for the professional license for coaches begins


Embraced Umm Al-Qura University A workshop aimed at setting the direction of the training market in the Kingdom, hosted by the King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in cooperation with Education and Training Evaluation Authority represented by the “Masar” Center.

The discussion revealed the details of the “professional license for trainers” as the newest tool for raising the quality of outputs, as it was decided to hold the first test to obtain it on the thirteenth of December 2025, with an initial capacity of 1,250 seats.

The project leaders confirmed that passing this test constitutes the first mandatory step to obtaining the license, which is valid for a full five years, with Reassuring current trainers that their previous licenses will remain valid until their actual expiration date.

Strict professional standards

In the context of strategic importance, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khairi, Executive Director of the “Masar” Center, explained that the license represents an advanced regulatory framework that imposes strict professional standards to raise the efficiency of trainers and ensure a sustainable impact on the development of human capabilities.

During the workshop, Umm Al-Qura University demonstrated its academic weight in this field, as the Dean of the Research Institute, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharif revealed: More than 400,000 trainees benefited from the university’s programs during the year 2024 alone.

Al-Sharif pointed out that the university has implemented about 1,300 specific training courses that covered vital and future sectors, most notably artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and Hajj and Umrah services, in addition to the growing tourism sector.

The university is basing this huge training movement on a solid human base, which includes more than 4,600 faculty members from various specialties, They contribute directly to supporting national human capital development programmes.

The workshop concluded by emphasizing that a professional license is no longer a luxury option, but rather a major and decisive step to sort the wheat from the bad in the training market, and ensure that knowledge reaches the beneficiaries in accordance with the highest approved quality standards.
