“Al-Adeed 30” and “Al-Saroukh 1” excel in the Dubai Sailing Race

The boat “Al Adeed 30”, owned by Mohammed Rashid Al Rumaithi and captained by skipper Mohammed Khaled Al Rumaithi, won the youth category title, while the boat “Rocket 1”, owned by Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouqi and captained by skipper Juma Mohammed Al Marzouqi, renewed its supremacy in the junior category, in the second round of the Dubai Local Sailing Race 22-foot class, organized by the Dubai International Marine Club, today, Saturday, as part of the season’s calendar of events. A competitive athlete in various marine disciplines.

The race witnessed the participation of 46 boats, 45 of which succeeded in completing the distance successfully, a positive indicator indicating the increasing strength and skill of the participants from the youth and junior categories, and what this race presents of a promising generation capable of continuing the process of giving to the experienced pilots, especially since participation was limited to the people of the state.

The boats sailed in the Dubai Sea, before landing on the beaches of Jumeirah after a race characterized by speed and great closeness between the boats.

Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, crowned the winners and holders of first places. The youth category witnessed “Zelzal 25” by its owner Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouqi and Al Nokhadha Abdullah Marwan Al Marzouqi taking second place, while the boat “Zelzal 1” owned by Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouki and Al Nokhadha Ahmed Abdullah Al Marzouqi came in third place, and in the junior competitions, the boat came in third place. “Theeban 88” by the owner and master, Tarish Ali Al Qubaisi, in second place, and the boat “Theeban 40” by the owner and master, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Marzouqi, in third place.
