“Juha” steals the spotlight before the start of the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar

The organizing committee of the 2025 Arab Cup announced the selection of the character “Juha” to be the official mascot of the tournament, which Qatar will host during the period from 1 to 18 December, with the participation of 16 teams.

The character of Juha is considered one of the most prominent literary and folkloric symbols in the Arab heritage, as she was famous for her intelligence, wit, and ability to combine wisdom and humor in narrating daily life situations, which made her present in popular memory across generations.

The championship competitions are scheduled to begin on December 1, with a match between Qatar and the winner of the match between Palestine and Libya, at Al Bayt Stadium.
