🔹We must seize the opportunity to shape a better future for Palestinians, Israelis and the entire region.
🔹Violence threatens the fragile ceasefire. I urge all parties to exercise restraint and adhere to their commitments in accordance with the agreement.
🔹The United Nations has redoubled its efforts to expand the scope of humanitarian aid.
🔹I call on Israel to expand the capabilities of the crossings and expedite approval for the entry of supplies.
🔹The European Union, the United Nations and the World Bank are working to update the “Rapid Assessment of Damages and Needs” that was issued in March and reported that the cost of rebuilding would cost about $53 billion.
🔹Preparations are continuing to hold the Cairo conference to rebuild Gaza.
🔹In the occupied West Bank, the escalation of settlement expansion, the spread of settlement outposts, violence, displacement, and evictions continues at alarming levels.
