5 problems that hinder the guardian’s signing of the partnership charter…and schools provide solutions

The administrations of a number of public schools revealed five technical challenges that hinder parents’ signing of the 2026 Partnership Charter, stressing the development of effective technical solutions to address the challenges of signing via the digital platform.
The departments explained that they observed a group of recurring challenges that parents faced during the past weeks, which affected their ability to successfully complete the electronic signature process.
The departments reported that they implemented a package of corrective measures and technical solutions aimed at enabling parents to easily complete the steps for signing the partnership charter through the Ministry of Education platform.
She confirmed that these steps came after careful follow-up of reports received from parents and analysis of areas of difficulty, in cooperation with student affairs units, which worked to develop practical and quick solutions to ensure overcoming technical and procedural obstacles.
The five challenges
In detail, school administrations monitored the recurrence of five basic problems centered around the technical and graphic aspects, the most notable of which is the failure of the “Yes/No” option to appear when starting the signing process, explaining that some parents do not have the initial approval step visible, which hinders the start of the procedures, indicating that the solution: directing them to choose “No” and following the steps until reaching the signing stage.
She stated that the second problem lies in the lack of guardian data in the UAE PASS system, as it became clear that a number of parents did not complete the identity, passport or family book data, explaining that the solution is to complete the data through the UAE PASS application, then provide the school with the name of the residential area and the longitude and latitude lines so that the housing location can be officially approved.
The third problem was the difference in login accounts between the father and mother, as some parents face difficulties when using an account that is not linked to the student, or in cases of separation of the parents, stressing that the solution is to use the correct guardian’s account, and in the event of separation, submit the court ruling to the school to update the person responsible for signing.
The schools explained that the fourth problem is the failure to receive the activation code due to an error in the e-mail, as the failure to update the e-mail for some parents led to difficulties during verification, explaining that the solution lies in updating the e-mail via UAE PASS, and then retrying the signature after about an hour has passed to ensure the synchronization of the data.
The schools said that the fifth problem we see is the mismatch of the parents’ data or the lack of address details, as the conflict or lack of data may prevent the activation of the charter and the completion of digital procedures, noting that the solution is to send the father’s and mother’s documents and the exact address to the school, and then try again after completing the internal updates.
School administrations stressed that the goal of these steps focuses on facilitating digital educational services and supporting communication with the family as an essential partner in the educational process.
technical support
She confirmed that the Student Affairs Units continue to provide technical support and follow up on individual cases, calling on parents to verify the accuracy of their data on the UAE PASS platform to ensure a smooth experience during signing.
The measures taken reflect the schools’ keenness to remove obstacles facing parents and enable them to play their role as partners in supporting students’ educational journey, thus contributing to building an integrated and more efficient digital educational environment.
